First orders received for 1m3 electrolyser stack
Acta S.p.A. (AIM: ACTA), the clean energy products company, is pleased to announce that it has received the first two orders for its 1m3/hour hydrogen generator stack. This is largest electrolyser stack unit currently produced by Acta, and is sold at a list price of €9,500 each.
The first of the orders is from the Spanish National Research Centre for Energy, Environment and Technology (CIEMAT). The centre is a public research organisation and part of the Spanish Ministry of Research, Development and Innovation. It focuses primarily on environmental and energy technologies, working closely with other national R&D institutions, universities and companies to support the industrial application of technologies for the achievement of environmental and social objectives.
The second order is from a German electrolyser manufacturer which is seeking to integrate Acta’s hydrogen generator stack into its product range.
Deliveries of these two orders are scheduled for December 2012 and the Board believes that the two customer evaluations due to be carried out simultaneously by the national research institution and an industrial customer will provide important technical and commercial validation of Acta’s breakthrough technology and may give rise to significant commercial opportunities. The Company is currently negotiating a number of additional sales proposals for its 1m3 electrolyser stacks.
