Singapore Project Clarification

Further to the press release of 27 November 2013 in relation to the sale of an Acta Power unit to

Singapore, Acta would like to clarify the following:

Contrary to the previous release, the system was purchased by Singapore’s Nanyang

Technological University (“NTU”), and not by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (“MPA”)

which was not involved in the procurement decision.

Furthermore, the system is to be installed by NTU for research and test-bedding purposes to

evaluate the feasibility of using renewable energy to support remote site power requirements, and

is not “intended to help the Government to promote the environment profile of the island, while also

allowing evaluation of renewable energy storage solutions for wider off-grid applications” as stated.

Acta has also been informed that Raffles Lighthouse is not accessible to the general public and is

not intended to be a venue for retreats.

Acta wishes to apologise to MPA and NTU for any misunderstanding that the original release may

have caused.
